If you are supposed to present your viewpoint on a certain topic (e.g. say what you think about the pros and cons of technical development), it is very good to use adverbs, such as:
- frankly – szczerze,
Frankly, I think he is a liar (= this is my frank, honest opinion).
These adverbs are placed at the beginning of the sentence and are separated from the rest of the sentence by a comma.
Some common viewpoint adverbs:
- honestly – szczerze
- seriously – poważnie
- personally – osobiście
- surprisingly – zaskakująco, ku (mojemu) zaskoczeniu
- obviously – oczywiście
- clearly – wyraźnie, oczywiście
- surely – z pewnością
- undoubtedly – niewątpliwie
