Their stories
During the many journeys we have sometimes unusual things happen. Some of them are funny some of them serious. The fact is that we remember them for a long time…
A puncture
A group of students were travelling to Italy when the coach got a puncture in one of its enormous wheels. The wheel had to be changed but the spare wheel department on that bus was behind the luggage section. The entire luggage from the section had to be removed from the bus and put along the road. It was a couple of meters of luggage. The students had to leave the bus. Luckily for them the weather was good. The sun was shining and students were busking in sun like lizards. No one got sunburnt and after the drivers changed the wheel the bus hit the road and got to the destination place without unwanted surprises.
Sightseeing
Two girls that have been on a school trip to Venice have decided to go sightseeing during their free time given by the teachers. The girls have calculated the distance and the time they have been given and decided that they have enough time if they hurry. Unfortunately, they got lost on their way back and were late one hour for the group meeting. Only one teacher was waiting for them and he was furious. He didn’t want to listen to their explanations and said that the trip leader have already informed police about two missing students.
Crying child
One of the children on a school trip lost his passport and cried so much that it was impossible to say what has happened to him. After he calmed down it showed up that the passport was nowhere to be found. The group leader took the boy and spent a whole day at the embassy to explain the situation and get a new passport for the boy. The boy was continuously crying at the embassy and it was difficult to take his picture. After a whole day at the embassy the boy got a new passport with an ugly red face picture in it. When the boy got home and explained what had happened during the trip to his parents they didn’t want to give the money for the passport back because of the hideous picture.
A coach on fire
A group of students had to spend an extra night at a luxurious hotel because their tour bus’ engine got on fire on one of the hot days. The driver had to use fire extinguisher to put it out. The group had to wait for a new bus to be provided by the tour operator. They were accommodated in a four star hotel because it was the nearest hotel that had enough free rooms available. The students liked the hotel so much that they were sad when they had to leave it.
Not lost group
A group of students visiting the Natural History Museum in London was cut out from their group by visitors from Japan. The museum was so crowded that it was impossible for the students to find the rest of the group. The students decided not to get nervous and made their tour around the museum as they liked it. They visited the displays they found attractive and were quite satisfied with the visit to the museum. Interesting is the fact that no one noticed that the students were missing. They got to the meeting point on time and only then it had showed up that they have seen different displays than the group.
