Przykładowy opis ilustracji
In the picture I can see some school children. They are outside; they might be in a park or in a forest, because I can see some trees in the background. They are probably about twelve years old. They are holding their mobile phones and talking. They look very happy and relaxed. The weather is beautiful, the sun is shining and it is probably quite warm. The pupils might be on a school excursion or they may just be having a pause between lessons, which is an opportunity to breathe some fresh air and rest.

Przykładowe odpowiedzi na pytania egzaminatora
1.
I think the children are talking to their parents. If they are on a school trip, and the coach has just stopped, they might be calling their parents to tell them where they are and what they have just seen. They are very happy to be able to talk to them because children always miss their parents when they are away. I guess they might also be talking to their friends, but this is less probable, since they are all together, and normally children have friends in the same class.

Well, I think mobiles are very important in my life. Actually I can’t imagine living without one. I use it to keep in touch with my friends, to tell them important news or to go out together. When I am not at home, I use it to inform my parents when I am going to be back. I am always sure that if something important happens, I am available, and also that in case of an accident or other need I can call for help – or just for a taxi.

I hate mobiles and I decided not to have one. I think they damage relationships. People meet to spend some time together, but then they seem to play with their mobiles: type messages or even play games! Everybody talks by mobiles on the bus, which is really annoying, we learn about people private lives, their problems. Intimacy has disappeared. I have a telephone at home, with answering machine. Even when I am not at home, my friends can leave me a message. I feel free and independent, because nobody calls me all the time and asks: ‘Where are you? What are you doing?’ I feel this would limit my freedom.
