Przykładowy opis ilustracji
In the picture I can see a figure skater taking part in a competition. In the background there is a white barrier and there are some round traces on the ice. The skater is slim and not very tall and looks like a Spanish beauty – with dark hair and eyes. She is wearing a beautiful turquoise skate dress decorated with sequins and, of course, white figure skates. Probably the woman has just finished her performance because now she is standing on ice rink, motionless, with her arms open. She must be exhausted. This is the last moment of the performance and no matter how tired she is, she cannot show it: she must still look beautiful.

Przykładowe odpowiedzi na pytania egzaminującego
1.
The skater in the picture does not seem very happy. I think that first of all she must be very tired. She has just had her performance and probably did her best. If it was successful, it must be a relief that she managed to do everything she wanted. She might also feel excited and a bit nervous because now she is going to wait for the results. Of course she also might have done some mistakes, such as falling down during the performance, and then she probably feels disappointed. This is in fact what she looks like, there is some sadness in her face. She might know that she has just lost her golden medal.

Of course there are a lot of advantages of being a sportswoman. Firstly, you may be famous. You can be shown on television, earn a lot of money and travel to interesting places. Even if you are not well-known, you just do something much more interesting than sitting in the office. Secondly, you keep fit, you are slim and probably healthier because you make your body work hard. Thirdly, you must feel excited when you win and crowds are watching you and aplauding. On the other hand, there are disadvantages. First of all, there is a lot of training, endless hours spent on repeating the same movements. You do not have time for anything else, like for proper education. Moreover, a lot os stress is involved and you must feel awful when you keep loosing and you have to finish with sport. The career does not last long – sometimes just a few years, and then you don’t know what to do with your life. There are also dangers connected with sports, such as injuries and drugs.
