Pragniesz obejrzeć mecz tenisowy na kortach na Wimbledonie. W tym celu dzwonisz do koleżanki mieszkającej w Londynie i:

  • pytasz, czy można zarezerwować bilet na mecz;
  • dowiadujesz się, czy koleżanka ma możliwość taki bilet Ci kupić;
  • informujesz ją, że możesz przelać pieniądze za bilet na jej konto.

E: As far as I know majority of the tickets is sold in advance via public ballot. Entry into the ballot does not mean you will be able to buy the ticket yet. Some tickets are sold on the day of the game by queueing.
Z: Would it be possible for you to queue for the ticket for me?
E: Yes, I will do it for you.
Z: You are a real friend of mine, thank you very much! I will give you the money back by wire transfer, OK?
E: Sure. It perfectly suits me.

E: We could go with you.
Z: It’s not a good idea, I’d feel ashamed. What about dad giving me a lift directly to the gate of the stadium?
E: It sounds reasonable. We’ll think it over.

E: How did you like World Figure Skating Championships yesterday?
Z: I liked it very much. As usually, this annual competition took place on one of the largest ice-skating rinks in Europe. The skaters were very well-repared and all of them were dancing in a wonderful way. It was amazing for me!
E: How did the spectators react?
Z: They were delighted. Most of them were very excited, cheering and singing. The atmosphere was great, too!
E: I wish I had seen it.
