Internet
Nowadays everybody who owns a computer with a modem can be connected to the Internet. I think I’m one of the most active Internet users in the world as I can spend hours surfing the Net. The Internet provides not only entertainment but it is also a source of information and a great communication tool. I like online shopping very much because I can buy various goods without having to leave the house. I even have my own Web page but you have to log on in order to see it. I use Microsoft Internet Explorer but I’m thinking of installing the Mozilla Firefox browser.
e-mail
Finally I have access to the Internet and I will be able to send and receive e-mails. I have to think up a good password and fill in the address book. Then I will enter the code for outgoing and incoming e-mails. E-mailing is not difficult but I will have to remember about emptying my mailbox regularly.
hardware
I wanted to install a new game yesterday. I put a floppy-disk into a drive and I saw the warning on the screen: Insufficient memory. I uninstalled some older games but the new one still didn’t work. It turned out that I need a better sound and graphic cards for the game.
The hard disk in my computer broke down last week. I had to change the motherboard as the operating system collapsed completely. I found out that the virus in the software was programmed to corrupt the hard disk.
