It is high time we planned our holiday. Last year we went for a backpacking trip which turned out to be exhausting so now we had better choose something more relaxing. I have been thinking about a package holiday in a holiday resort. We would stay at one place and we could take part in day trips and city tours organised by a hotel. I know you dream about an expedition to the Himalayas or a voyage to Australia but it is definitely too expensive. We will think about it next year.
Sightseeing
London is one of the most fascinating places in the world. It is renowned for numerous museums, historic buildings, parks and many other tourist attractions. You should start your visit there from Westminster Abbey which is a beautiful Gothic church famous for its tombs and monuments to many distinguished figures. You must see the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s residence. The National Gallery is also worth visiting as it is one of the greatest collections of art in the world. It is situated not far from Trafalgar Square, famous for the statue of Admiral Lord Nelson, fountains and pigeons.
