I found a part time job in a restaurant so I decided to open a bank account to save some money for the next holiday. I went to the bank which has branches in the majorities of large cities in Poland. They advised me to open a deposit account but I prefer a current one as I can withdraw money whenever I feel like to. The bank charges are not as low as in the Internet banking but they are acceptable. They send me the balance at the end of the month so I always know how much money I have and what the interest is like. If my account is not overdrawn I will be able to take a loan in the future. I am also thinking about buying my own flat so when the interest rate is lower I will probably apply for a credit.
