W większości przypadków liczbę mnogą rzeczowników tworzy się w języku angielskim bardzo prosto (o wiele prościej niż po polsku). Po prostu dodajemy literę -s do rzeczownika w liczbie pojedynczej i w ten prosty sposób otrzymujemy liczbę mnogą, np.: dog – dogs, cat – cats, boy – boys, itp.
